Client Services Agreement

Effective upon payment of the Service Fee

BY USING S.O.'S SERVICES, YOU SIGNIFY YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS AGREEMENT, AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF THESE, YOU SHOULD NOT USE S.O.'S SERVICES.

THIS AGREEMENT BECOMES EFFECTIVE BETWEEN YOU AND S.O. (socurated.co) UPON YOUR PAYMENT OF THE SERVICE FEE DESCRIBED IN SECTION 3.

1. Parties

This Agreement is between you (the client) and S.O. (socurated.co), a curated matchmaking service.

2. Services

S.O. agrees to provide the following matchmaking and introduction services ("Services") to you, following your payment of the Service Fee to S.O.:

  • Sourcing of compatible match candidates from S.O.'s network.
  • Facilitation of introductions between you and match candidates.
  • Ongoing feedback collection and match refinement throughout the Term.

An "Introduced Match Candidate" is defined as a person whose profile is shown to you by S.O. within the Term.

S.O. does not guarantee romantic compatibility, relationship outcomes, or the behavior of any Introduced Match Candidate. S.O. is not an escort service or therapy provider.

3. Fees & Payment

Service Fee: If you decide to use S.O.'s Services, as defined above, you agree to pay a one-time fee of $250 CAD (the "Service Fee"). Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of Services, via payment link provided by S.O.

The Service Fee is non-refundable except as expressly set out in Section 4 (Satisfaction Guarantee) below.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee & Refund Policy

S.O. stands behind the quality of its introductions. The following guarantee applies:

Guarantee: If you do not reach a third (3rd) date with any Introduced Match Candidate within two (2) years of the payment date, you are entitled to a full refund of the Service Fee.

4.1 Definition of "Third Date"

A "third date" is defined as three (3) separate, planned meetings between you and the same Introduced Match Candidate, each occurring on a different calendar day and voluntarily attended by both parties.

4.2 Client Reporting Obligation

It is your sole responsibility to self-report date outcomes to S.O. via email or written communication. S.O. relies on your honest and timely reporting to track progress under this guarantee.

4.3 Refund Claim Process

To claim a refund, you must submit a written refund request to S.O. at hello@socurated.co within thirty (30) days of the expiry of the two-year Term. S.O. will process verified refunds within fourteen (14) business days of receipt.

4.4 Conditions That Void the Guarantee

The guarantee is void and no refund will be issued if any of the following apply:

  • You were unresponsive to S.O. for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days during the two-year Term.
  • You were abusive, dishonest, or engaged in misconduct toward an Introduced Match Candidate.
  • You misrepresented material information (relationship status, intentions, personal details) during onboarding or at any point during the Term.
  • You failed to report the occurrence of a date with an Introduced Match Candidate.
  • You enter an exclusive romantic relationship or willingly withdraw from S.O.'s services.
  • You request a refund outside the thirty (30) day claim window described in Section 4.3.

5. Client Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, honest, and complete information during onboarding and throughout the Term.
  • Treat all Introduced Match Candidates with respect and professionalism.
  • Provide candid post-introduction feedback to enable match refinement.
  • Notify S.O. promptly if you enter an exclusive relationship or otherwise no longer wish to receive introductions.

6. Confidentiality

You agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of any personal, identifying, or sensitive information shared in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to the identities, contact information, and personal details of Introduced Match Candidates. You agree not to share, post, or disclose the identity or personal details of any Introduced Match Candidate on social media, public forums, or to third parties without the express written consent of that individual.

7. Non-Disparagement

You agree not to publicly disparage S.O., its founder, or any Introduced Match Candidate introduced through its services. This clause does not prevent you from providing honest private feedback to S.O. or from pursuing legal remedies available to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

S.O.'s total liability to you under this Agreement shall not exceed the Service Fee paid by you ($250 CAD). S.O. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, emotional, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services or from interactions with Introduced Match Candidates.

S.O. does not conduct criminal background checks on Introduced Match Candidates and is not responsible for the conduct, representations, or actions of any individual introduced through its services. You agree to exercise your own due diligence.

9. Term & Termination

Term: This Agreement begins on the Payment Date and continues for two (2) years, unless terminated earlier.

Client Termination: You may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice to S.O. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

S.O. Termination: S.O. may terminate this Agreement immediately, without refund, if you violate any obligation set out in Section 5 or engage in conduct that, in S.O.'s reasonable judgment, is harmful to an Introduced Match Candidate or to S.O.'s reputation.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

11. Acceptance

S.O. reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of S.O.'s services following notice of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. By remitting payment to S.O., you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. No physical signature is required.
